Our first Digital MSME Yatra started on the 1st of July 2024. In the first stage, Mr. Piyush Singh, Founder of CeDISI NGO, travelled across Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram to engage with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across various sectors, Manufacturing, Processing, and Trading of Goods and Services, across business categories with the following objectives;

1. Understanding the Digitalization Needs of MSMEs

The primary goal of the Digital MSME Yatra is to delve into the challenges and requirements that MSMEs face when adopting digital solutions for enhancing business growth and operational efficiency. From leveraging cloud computing and digital marketing to embracing e-commerce platforms, Zed certifications, MSMEs increasingly recognise digital technologies' transformative potential. However, the path to digital transformation is often met with obstacles unique to each business category ranging from mindset to resources and everything in between.

2. Exploring Services and Solutions

Technology service providers play a pivotal role in this journey by developing tailored products and services that cater specifically to the needs of MSMEs. Whether it's streamlined inventory management systems, HRMS, accounting, cost-effective digital payment solutions, or comprehensive digital marketing strategies, these innovations empower MSMEs to thrive in an increasingly digital-first economy.

3. Government Schemes Driving Digital Efficiency

Discuss the various initiatives launched by the Government of India, the Ministry of MSME to strengthen technological adoption among MSMEs. Schemes like Digital India, MSME champion, MSME TEAM initiative and those offering special incentives for women-led MSMEs are pivotal in fostering an inclusive digital ecosystem where every business has the tools needed to succeed.

Union Minister for MSME has said that the MSMEs will be a key force in the movement towards Atmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat and digitalisation will play an important role in MSME growth.
